A Runner in the Dark

This image of a candid subject using it's many lines and shapes that draw you toward the extreme background. The figure in the back also has very little definition and is heavily contrasted to the imadiate white background which I feel uses dynamic subject placement. The use of minimal light and most of the picture being dark give it an ominous feel. This feeling is also heightened with the bulk of the picture having very dark colors. The mats on the left hand side also make the picture feel very enclosed. The contrast of dark on the left and light on the right make your eye focus in the middle and force it once again to the figure.  This picture was taken at approximately 8:10 am at Reed Gym. On January 16th.
