Squirrel in a tree

Here, in this image the squirrel is the main focus in his natural habitat of trees. This image has some depth and perspective, with the squirrel and tree close to the camera, and then more of the tree and some branches in the background creating depth. The background is also blurry making the squirrel stand out more to the viewer's eye. This picture was taken at a low angle, with the squirrel in the tree and the photographer on the ground, the camera had to be pointed up towards the squirrel to get the picture. There is also a lot of line, shape, and texture in the trees and leaves. Just by looking at the photo the viewer can tell that the trees have a lot of texture and the lines are visible on the trees as well. In the background there are many smaller branches that are crisscrossing each other making many different shapes. The squirrel is not posed making this a candid shot of a squirrel in his natural habitat. The tree that the squirrel is sitting on curves around and up the side sort of framing the squirrel. The tree going up the side of the image makes the squirrel more visible to the viewer. This picture was taken on January 14 around 3:30 p.m. on Idaho State University campus.
