This is Onyx Malcavion my lab mix helping me in my attempts to take a good picture after class on Thursday 1/12/2017 at 1:30 PM. Hanging out on the living room floor after him and his sister (not seen in the picture) finished rough housing. This photo was cropped to simplify the image and give a clearer subject. Onyx's head sits on one side of the frame while the tail and lower body angle to the other so he makes a diagonal through the image demonstrating a little bit the rule of thirds. Compared to his surroundings we can see the color contrast between the light carpet and his black fur. I believe the leg of the table in the photo though unintentional would add balance to the image. I don't believe this shows a Candid image even though Onyx wasn't posed he isn't doing anything either. Below you can see the original photo. It is very cluttered you can see my pretend fireplace space heater thing, my very yellow vacuum, and some random white stuff on the floor that would distract the viewer.CMP 2202 (MORRIS sections: Spring, 2017)
