Morgan Standing in the Center of Symmetry - Brynne Hardwicke
This photo, featuring Morgan Weber, was taken at 5:30pm on Friday, Jan. 13 outside of Frasier on campus. This photo features a high angle created by my standing above the subject while taking the picture. It also has psychological closure because Morgan's head and feet are both partially cut off. This photo is balanced by the symmetry on both sides of the subject, with the subject centered. The lines of both the cement pathways and handrails point toward the subject, drawing the viewer's eye directly into the photo and to the subject. The color of Morgan's coat contrasts the dull gray background, drawing more attention to him as the main focus of the image.
