Anonymous couple admiring the Salt Lake City Public Library archetecture

An anonymous couple is captured up on top of a walkway located inside of the Salt Lake city public library located in the heart of downtown.

In this image, there is an abundance of symmetry and lines captured using the rule of thirds while the building outside and behind the couple adds a sense of depth and abstraction to the photo placing the couple in the bottom right corner while using the leading lines of the building outside and to the left of them to help draw  your attention to their presence.  The lack of color and use of backlighting in this photo adds to the mysterious feeling evoked by the random couple.

The lines of the building add shape and pattern as well as balance to the photo.  This photo was shot from a low level (two levels below, looking up at this).  I had only a brief 30 seconds to capture them before they moved on.

This shot was taken while on a hockey trip to Salt Lake city with my family January 15, 2017 at approximately 6:17pm.  We wondered over to the library to escape the dreary inversion that was with us all weekend.  I do not know who the couple was, I took this shot without their awareness.
