Annabel in front of the Salt Lake City Convention Center

Annabel Dodge loves to pose!  This photo incorporates depth and uses the leading lines of the concrete to pull your eyes to the subject (Annabel).  This shot was taken while lying on the ground (a low angle) to help emphasize the lines of the concrete block she was standing on, leading your eye towards her helping to add a dynamic subject placement.  The signs that she is leaning on adds a verticle pattern and helps to balance the strong lines and shapes of the convention center itself, the foreground and the verticle signs she is leaning on.

The dreary, overcast, inversion is broken up by the pop of color of her purple jacket, helping to place more importance on her.  This photograph has a noticeable Z-axis consisting of the foreground concrete, the human subject, and the background building.  There is also some look room in this photo which is captured by leaving some space between the subject and the building.

This photo was taken Sunday, January 15, 2017, in Salt Lake City, Utah in front of the Convention Center.  The subject is my daughter, who never resists the temptation to be in a photo.
