| In this image the dog and the girl are multi-layered with the dog in the foreground and the girl in the background. This photo shows depth and perspective because of how close the dog is to the camera compared to the girl and snow in the background. This photo also shows balance, with the girl on the left hand side and the dog towards the right, the image is balanced. There are many reflections in this image, not only of the dog and the girl, but also of things that are not even in the frame. There are reflections all across the image, in the foreground, middle, and the background. This image also uses the rule of thirds, because the dog is in the right corner where two of the lines of thirds would be and the girl is in the left top corner where another two lines of thirds would meet. This picture was taken on January 14 around 3:00 p.m. on Cadet Field at Idaho State University. The girl is my friend Jenny and the dog is her dog, Rusty. |
