It was a cold Saturday morning on the 14th of January as my kids and I stayed inside to play. This photo was candid and was extremely hard to get. I had both kids looking at me. I wanted to use the dutch angle and still get both kids in the shot. As you can see, there is definite layering and a use of the z-axis with the position of Kambrie in the background behind her sister Kimahri. I included the baseboard on the wall to create a line leading to Kambrie so that the viewers eye would go to her as soon as they were done looking at Kimahri. The white walls create contrast to the clothes of the subjects which makes them very easy to notice. The rule of thirds was definitely used here. I have Kimahri in the bottom left and Kambrie in the top right.
