Geese feeding in a field in Winter. The picture shows depth and perspective (the distance between the grass in foreground
and the mountains in background creates depth) is an example of layering. The colors
of the photograph all relate to each other and are harmonious (tan grass with
the snow and the geese standing in the snow, and the snow covered mountains). The grass, snow, trees and mountains all form
horizontal lines giving the picture balance. Geese
are not posed which makes for a candid
shot. This picture was taken about 1
p.m. Saturday, 14 January 2017 about a half mile from my home near American
Falls Idaho.
