Bob Smith and Armando Hagan rest in their apartment during the long weekend during the afternoon. The image is multi-layered with Bob in the foreground and Armando in the background. There is a leading line going from Bob's head to Armando. The depth of the picture comes from the layering of the two humans and the table, giving it a z-axis. The rule of Thirds is also implemented here as Bob takes up the right third of the picture while it is a candid shot because they are doing what they normally do when they relax. The water bottle on the table serves as psychological closure because you cannot see all of Armando but you can still see him enjoying himself.

Madison sit at the top of Reed Gym, taking in a basketball game Saturday night. The Rule of Thirds is used here as he is taking up the bottom right of the picture in the lower left corner. This is a candid shot because he is not posing for a picture. There is depth through leading lines because he is looking at what is important, which is the basketball court which also gives it a z-axis. The tarp at the top helps with the depth as well because it its lines show where the eye goes, from Madison, to the court.

This picture was taken Sunday morning in an apartment. The cards are in the foreground and are in focus while the two bottles on the side give a leading line to the skull on the wall. The two bottles play in the rule of thirds as they are both in separate corners of the rule of thirds. The picture is taken from a low angle which also helps with the lines leading to the skull. This picture has a lot of depth and perspective because the bottles serve as a tunnel leading from the cards to the skull.
