Fishing on The River: Wyatt Sommer, Composition Photos and Captions Exercise
This photo utilizes the rule of thirds with the fishing pole (the subject) off centered. The horizontal line of the river gives the photo a relaxing feel, while the fishing pole makes a diagonal line. The snow in the foreground gives the image a unique texture that leads our eye to the river. This picture has layering with the snow and fishing pole in the foreground and the river and trees in the background. This photo is at a low angle (close to the snow looking out towards the river). This photo was taken while I was fishing on January 14, around 8:30 a.m.at Warm River, Idaho. This is one of my favorite spots to fish despite the cold weather.
