Old Poplar Tree. Ali Nash
In my third photo I did a scenery shot of my parents back yard. The giant old Poplar tree takes up the majority of the photo with its long branches created many lines across the picture. There is depth and perspective in this picture because while the tree is in front, the eye is attracted to the colors of the sunset also allowing you to see the depth of field. The horizon splits the picture but the bright sky softly fades out the top allowing you to stay focused on the bright reds, oranges, and pinks. The dark colors of the branches balance the color allowing for the eyes to focus on different parts of the photo at a time.
