Jared Amen takes a phone break

This photo was taken Saturday afternoon January 14th on the second floor of rendezvous residence hall. Resident Assistant Jared Amen decides to take a load off and catch up on his phone time. There are several horizontal, vertical, and cross lines crisscrossing throughout the image that lead the viewers eyes to all areas of the photo starting with the chair toward the hand railing and then across the walls. Although most of the colors are of muted tones the direct light coming from the windows and lights in the halls across the building also pull the viewers eye to different areas. The balance of the photo is achieved by the offset of the subject to the two X's in the center, left of the image.
