River floats await rental at Lava Hot Springs. The picture utilizes patterns and repetition to draw the viewer in (the boats are a repeated pattern because there are six of them in the same position side-by-side). The different colors in the pattern are complementary (yellow, blue, white, and then they repeat) and cause the eyes to be drawn to the black hand holds on each raft. The shot is canted to the left on the horizon and makes the tilted inner tubes appear to be standing straight up and down. This picture was taken near the river in Lava Hot springs Idaho on Saturday, 8/27/16, at 12:30pm.
