Morgan Contemplating Outside of South Complex - Brynne Hardwicke

This photo was taken at 5:00pm on Friday, Jan. 13 near South Complex on campus. It features Morgan Weber as a strong foreground figure. This picture has layering with Morgan in the foreground, a tree in the middle ground, and a building and another tree in the background. Balance is created by the middle ground tree balancing Morgan, and the background tree balancing the middle ground tree. Morgan is a candid subject who was not posed for this picture. The rule of thirds is observed because Morgan occupies the left one-third of the picture rather than being placed in the center. Morgan's line of sight leads to the middle ground tree, which draws the viewer's eyes into the picture. The contrast of the bright green color of Morgan's coat makes him sand out as the main subject. There is plenty of look room in front of Morgan in the direction he is looking (he is on the left of the photo but he is looking toward the right).
