Morgan Watching a Passerby - Brynne Hardwicke
This photo was taken in front of Rendezvous on campus at 4:40pm on Friday Jan. 13. It features layering with the strong foreground figure in the green coat in the foreground, the tree in the middle ground, and the woman and buildings in the background. This photo has balance created by the man in the green coat on the left offsetting the tree on the right. The color of the bright green coat contrasts the dullness of the rest of the picture, drawing the eye to the main foreground subject. The people in the picture are candid subjects who were not posed for this picture. There is look room in the direction that the foreground subject is looking - he is placed on the left side of the mage but looking to the right. The rule of thirds is demonstrated by the man on the left vertical third line and the tree on the right vertical third line. The man is looking at the walking woman, drawing the viewer's eye into the picture. The foreground subject is Morgan Weber. The woman is a random passerby.
