The Shining Light

                                                                   The Shining light

This picture is of a statue of the the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. It symbolizes compassion. It shows balance by having the statue in the middle of the photograph. The picture in the middle of the photograph draws your eye to the statue. It shows color and contrast with the white light in the middle of the photograph, while the dark sides of the photograph and the dark bottom contrasts with the white parts of the picture. It was made by putting a candle behind the statue. The candle provided back lighting to the statue that contrasts with the statue and the dark sides and bottom of the picture. This picture was designed to make the viewers eyes ficus on the statue, The light is meant to symbolize the light of compassion. The dark sides of the picture are meant to isolate the statue from the rest of the picture. This picture was taken on top of my bookcase at 11:00 pm, Thursday January 12th, 2017.
